Hey Polecats! Welcome to my Race HQ where you’ll find all of my features, interviews and blogs. If you found me through social media, you’ll know what F1Polecats is all about, but if you’re new here let me fill you in.

My name is Syd, I started writing a blog in 2023 when I was 13. That led to F1Polecat.com and as an aspiring sports journalist my mission now is to give you the inside track on everything about F1 Academy, F2, Formula Ford and all other grass roots motor sports.

Yeah, I love F1 too (everyone loves F1), but let’s be honest Netflix & Sky TV both have that on lockdown! But there’s loads of other action on 4-wheels which doesn’t get the love, so if you’re not familiar with the current female talent in F1 Academy, or you don’t know your way round the paddock at Brands Hatch, then let me steer you in the right direction! And before you ask:

• Yeah I’m a girl, don’t be scared.

• No I don’t have a driving licence (I’m 14, damn you!)

• Sure, I’m available to hire for journalistic missions - sports writing and teenage audiences are my speciality ; )
